Monthly Rituals
每月科儀
The Lidou ritual (禮斗科儀) is a communal ceremony venerating the 大聖北斗七元君 — the Seven Lords of the North Dipper. Performed on the last Sunday of every month, this ritual invokes the collective power of the Seven Lords to resolve disasters, extend life, and bestow blessings upon participants and their families.
Registration is required for all rituals. Please register and pay online at least 3 days before the ritual date. Participants are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes early.

Annual Ritual Ceremonies
年度科儀
The Zhong Yuan Festival (中元節) falls on the 15th day of the 7th lunar month — the midpoint of the Ghost Month and one of the three Yuan festivals in the Taoist calendar. Our annual Zhong Yuan ritual honours 太乙救苦天尊 (Taiyi Jiuku Tianzun), the Celestial Worthy of Universal Salvation, and performs rites for the welfare of the deceased and the relief of suffering across all realms. This is one of the most significant rituals in the Quanzhen liturgical calendar.
Prayers to the Taisui (太歲) — the presiding deity of the year — observed at two points in the year. At Lunar New Year, members petition the incoming Taisui for protection and blessings (拜太歲), particularly if their zodiac sign is in conflict with the year (犯太歲). Before Winter Solstice, members return to give thanks (謝太歲) and formally close the year's cycle of protection.
Exact dates for annual ceremonies are determined by the lunar calendar each year. Follow us on Facebook or contact us via Facebook Messenger to be notified when dates are confirmed.
