Our purpose
Mission and aims
宗旨與目標
Quan Zhen Cultural Society exists to propagate, preserve, and transmit the Taoist Quanzhen Longmen tradition in Singapore. We serve as a living bridge between an ancient lineage and a modern society — nurturing the next generation of Taoist practitioners, leaders, and cultural custodians.
We are open to all — whether you are a lifelong practitioner, a curious beginner, or simply someone who wishes to understand more about Taoism and its role in Chinese cultural heritage.
Propagate Taoism through educational courses, public lectures, forums, and community events.
Serve as a platform for young Taoists — providing a space for learning, dialogue, and community connection.
Preserve the culture and practice of the Quanzhen Longmen Dragon Gate Sect's rites and rituals.
Instil leadership qualities among members and provide guidance and support to other Taoist organisations.
Affiliate, liaise, and cooperate with similar bodies locally and overseas that share our objectives and aspirations.
Train members in social service, offer Taoist teachings, and provide healthy and meaningful community activities.
Our story
A decade of tradition
十年傳承
From a small circle of dedicated practitioners to a registered cultural society with a growing community, Quan Zhen Cultural Society has spent a decade building something that matters — a living tradition, practised with rigour and shared with openness.
In 2026 we celebrated our 10th anniversary — a milestone that reflects not just the passage of time, but the depth of commitment from every member, teacher, and supporter who has been part of this journey.
Quan Zhen Cultural Society was formally registered in Singapore, bringing together a community of Quanzhen Longmen practitioners committed to the study and preservation of the Taoist tradition.
Nine years of rituals, scripture classes, public education, and community building — steadily growing our membership and deepening our practice across Singapore.
Quan Zhen Cultural Society celebrates a decade of service to the Taoist community in Singapore — marking ten years of heritage preserved, teachings shared, and a tradition kept alive.
